Disposal and recycling
As a consumer, you are legally obliged to
properly dispose of old electrical
appliances. The same applies to batteries.
Regional recycling centers serve as the
first point of contact. The electrical
components of the iMatJet
®
must not be
disposed of with residual waste. The
batteries of the iMatJet
®
must be treated as
dangerous goods and are therefore subject
to special labeling requirements.

Ban on tuning
Do not make any technical alterations to

your iMatJet
. Any manipulation to
increase performance or speed can
have serious legal and security
implications for you.
Possible legal repercussions:
⚫ The manufacturer does not assume any liability
or warranty.
⚫ Criminal law repercussions cannot be ruled out.
For example, you may be charged with the offense
of negligent bodily harm.
Possible technical repercussions:
⚫ Technical modifications impair functionality and
can lead to defects or breakage of components.
⚫ Motor and batteries might suffer overload and overheat.
Consequence: Irreparable damage and fire hazard.
The batteries must be disposed of by the seller or
manufacturer.

Transport
Remove the batteries before transporting
your iMatJet
®
.
By car or train
Transport your iMatJet
®
in the trolley
included in the scope of delivery [11].
Remove the batteries of the motor housing
before transport
[20]
and secure the contacts
with the protective caps [27].
Place the batteries in the trolley together with
the iMatJet
®
. Stow the trolley safely in your
vehicle / on the train.
By plane
®
Package the iMatJet
carefully in the trolley
to avoid damage in transit.
During transport by plane, the batteries of the motor
housing must be transported as dangerous goods.
For this purpose, they must be specially labeled.
Ask your airline about this and also about regulations
for the transport of sports equipment.
Shipping the batteries
Never ship the batteries
[23]
yourselves, as these fall into the
category of dangerous goods.
As the batteries can heat up or catch fire under certain
conditions, only ship the batteries through your specialist
dealer.
