Cleaning the motor housing and protective grille
Before cleaning, both batteries
[23]
must be removed from the
motor housing
[20]
to avoid
injuries from the propeller [33].
In order to be able to release the protective grille
cover [30], press two to three of the three latches
[29]
from the back, with the largest diameter together
so that the latches release.
Foreign bodies such as algae, silt, etc. can now be
removed using tweezers or small flat-nose pliers.
When cleaning, make sure that you do not damage
the propeller
[33]
and the motor shaft [35].
When you are finished, put the protective grille
cover
[30]
back on and snap the latches
place.
If there are foreign bodies behind the propeller
in the protective grille
[31]
behind it, follow the steps
in "replacing the propeller" in the following section on
how to reach these parts.
After cleaning...
Make sure that the 3 latches
are 100% engaged
to avoid injuries from the propeller.
Protect your hands with gloves or a
thick cloth. Otherwise, cuts
or injuries to your skin
may result.

When the iMatJet® is not being moved, it is
essential to remove the rechargeable batteries
from the drive: it must be ensured that no damage
can be caused to objects or persons by the propeller.
The protective grille must always be mounted on the drive in
a safe and tight manner! Otherwise there is a risk of injury from the
high-performance propeller drive.
When the iMatJet® is in operation and on water, observe the
following: It must be ensured that no persons are in the immediate
vicinity. Persons may not attempt to climb onto the float during
running operation of the iMatJet®.
Never dive under the iMatJet®. Despite protective grilles, there is a
risk of injury when persons who have long hair are located in the
vicinity of the running propellers.
If a potentially dangerous situation should arise because persons in
the water come close to the iMatJet®: switch it off immediately by
pressing the button on the remote control.
