recommend you not to insist with re-
starting, but to recharge the battery.
If you are going on trying to re-start
the battery when it is discharged or
semi-discharged this action could
affect its life.
CAUTION!
Do not completely discharge the
battery.

Running function with tool:
disconnect the safety lever rotating it
to the top then lower the tool lever. To
engage the forward or reverse gear,
release the safety device by pressing

At the end of the work: To
stop the job you need to put the throttle
handle on stop position and the engine
is switching off.
DANGER!
In case you have to face an unforeseen
and accidental obstacle, you should im-
mediately leave the two driving levers
(2-4,

8. HANDLING AND TRANSPORT
DANGER!
Before proceeding, read and under-
stand the chapter "SAFETY INSTRUC-
TIONS" in its entirety.
With the motor off, the machine can be
moved by hand by pushing or pulling it
from the handlebar.

LIFTING:
9. STORAGE
When the machine is not going to be used
for long periods of time, it is essential to
protect the tool with anti-corrosion and
antioxidant substances.
Clean the machine of leaves and/or dirt
before storage.
DANGER!
Remove the fuel from the tank and close
the tap (if present).
Park the machine fitted with the accessory
on flat ground, removing the ignition key (if
present) and/or spark plug cap.
DANGER!
Protect the sharp parts and cover the
machine with protective sheets if neces-
sary.

When the Multi-functional unit
is stored without equipment (like rotava-
tor, grassland mower, cutting bar, etc..) it
should be positioned as shown in the pic-
ture. Please put under the engine the poly-
styrene you can find into the packaging or
any other support showing a vertical side
at least 14 cm height. The a.m. operation

avoids the oil to draw into the combus-
tion chamber. Please be very careful also
when putting new oil into the engine and
to the equipment assembly/disassembly.
10. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
DANGER!
Before proceeding, read and understand
the chapter "SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS"
in its entirety.
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tightened
to ensure safe operation of the machine
and/or interchangeable equipment in safe
conditions.
10.1 CABLE ADJUSTMENT
4 . 3
4 . 3
Warning - wheels should start
rotating only when control lever is beyond
half travel. When lever is pulled to full ex-
tent (working position), the belt-stretcher
load spring should extend by 6 to 8 mm
approx. For above described conditions
to be reached, action is to be taken on
adjuster set close to the belt stretcher
control assembly.
1. 7
1. 7
Caution - After a few hours of
work following the first assembly, check
the correct tensioning of the tool belt, as
belts run in and have a variable elonga-
tion during their useful life. To adjust the
tension, unscrew the "S" nuts on the "Z"
transmission shown in the picture.
CAUTION!
Insufficient tension will result in slippage,
overheating and consequent damage
to the belts or will limit the ability to
absorb the torque spikes to which
the transmission is subjected. Belt
screeching under load often indicates
insufficient tension. Excessive belt
tension can be even more critical than
insufficient tension, as it damages not
only the V-belts but also the bearings
and shafts, leading to belt breakage and
excessive vibrations and heating of the
motor and bearings.
HANDLEBAR ADJUSTMENT

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT:
The height of the Multi-functional
handlebar can be adjusted. Before start-
ing any work it is a good standard oper-
ating procedure to adjust the handlebar
to the operator's requirements so that
the Multi-functional unit could be easily
handled. Loosen the handles, adjust the
handlebar according to the needed height
and tightly screw the handles up.
4 . 4b
4 . 4b
LATERAL ADJUSTMENT:
Lateral handlebar adjustment keeps the
operator from stepping on ground that has
already been hoed and from damaging
vegetation. Considering the central posi-
tion (2, 5), the handlebar support can be
further reclined for one position to the left
and right side in the following way:
1. unscrew the unblocking rod until the
handlebar support is not raising from the
teeth shown on the machine;
2. orientate the handlebar support to the
desired job position and reinsert it into the
teeth part.
3. tighten the unblocking lever in order to
tighten the whole again.
CAUTION!
The handlebar support can be screwed
up only in the 3 pre-established positions:
NO intermediate positions are allowed!

JOB POSITION ADJUSTMENT
Orientate the handlebar with the handlebar
support into the needed job position
according to the tool you are going to use.
