1 Replace the sealing strips.

Maintenance by Customer Service
Note
In order to preserve warranty entitlements, all servicing and main-
tenance work during the warranty period has to be performed by
an authorised Kärcher Customer Service, in accordance with the
inspection check list.
● Initial inspection after 20 operating hours
● Maintenance every 100 operating hours
● Maintenance every 300 operating hours
Maintenance work
Checking/topping up the engine oil level
Check the oil level when the device is parked and standing hori-
zontally.
ATTENTION
Danger of burns
Do not touch any hot surfaces such as the exhaust pipe or motor.

1. Park the device on a level surface.
2. Allow the motor to cool.
a Check the motor oil level no earlier than 5 minutes after the
motor has been switched off.
3. Close the right-hand panel.
4. Unscrew the oil dipstick and read the oil level.
a If the oil level is below MIN, top up the motor oil.
For the correct oil type see chapter "Technical data".
b Do not overfill, just fill up to MAX.
5. If the oil level is correct, screw in the dipstick.
6. Close the panel.
Oil change
Perform the oil change on a warm engine so that the oil drains
better.
1. Shut down the engine.
2. Place the device on a level surface.
3. Provide a suitable catch pan for the used oil.
4. Open the right panel (pivot).

5. Unscrew the oil dipstick.
6. Remove the drain hose from the support.
7. Open the hose clip on the drain hose and pull out the locking
piece.
8. Allow the oil to drain completely into the catch pan.
9. Insert the locking piece and tighten with a hose clip.
10.Fill new engine oil (see "Technical data") up to the lower edge
of the filler opening.
11.Screw in and tighten the oil dipstick.
12.Close the panel.
13.Dispose of the old oil in accordance with the environmental
regulations.
1. Unscrew the wing nut.

2. Remove the cover.
3. Check the air filter for soiling, clean if necessary.
4. Slide the cover into the fixing, then put it on.
a Pay attention to the correct position in the fixing.
5. Screw on the wing nuts and tighten.
