Air Controls
Certain jet systems have their own "push-button" air control.
Each control introduces air into the water lines that supply
that specific jet group.
I
Simply rotate any air control counterclockwise to open or rotate
clockwise to close.
N.B.:To minimize heat loss, all air controls should be closed
when the spa is not in use.
Jacuzzi J-1000 Audio System (optional)
Models equipped with the stereo system (optional) allow you to
expand your total enjoyment of the spa. The Audio system
includes an AM/FM radio, CD and MP3 players, iPod and USB
holder, as well as an internal drive for saving your favourite music.
Four speakers and an integrated sub-woofer that guarantee excel-
lent sound definition complete the equipment.

Pressing this button activates the logo, well Jet light, and water-
fall lights in sequence as follows: high - medium - low - off. Note:
the lights in the spa go off automatically after 2 hours. The exter-
nal lights (optional) are controlled by a photocell.

Standard skimming/heating modes
I
Standard skimming/heating modes are typically selected by
customers in cold climates where heatup times are extended due
to lower ambient temperatures. In this way, the water tempera-
ture is controlled by the set temperature, which activates the
heater when necessary.
Economy skimming/heating modes
I
Economy skimming/heating modes are typically selected by
customers in warm climates where heatup times are minimized
due to higher ambient temperatures. In this mode, the water
temperature is regulated by the set temperature only while a pro-
grammed filtering/heating cycle is running (unless in summer
mode; see note below).
N.B.: this mode consumes less energy than the standard mode
outlined above.
Economy skimming/heating modes
I
Press the MODE button to select either "Standard" or "Econ-
omy" skimming/heating mode: the indicator on the right side of
the control panel changes to indicate which mode is selected.
"Summer" mode
In warm weather, the water temperature in the hot tub may exceed
the set temperature. This condition may occur due to heat trans-
ference from the main pump and circulation pump.
If the water temperature is higher than 35°C and rises two degrees
above the set temperature, a "Summer Logic" condition occurs that
deactivates the circulation pump and ozonator (if equipped).
I
The circulation pump and ozonator will remain off until the
water temperature cools to the set temperature (except when the
circulation pumps runs for its mandatory 2-hour "clean-up" cycle).
To help prevent a "Summer Mode" condition, it may be neces-
sary to reduce the skimming/heating cycle in warm weather.
Preset skimming/heating cycles
In "Economy" mode the spa has four pre-programmed 30-
minute filtering/heating cycles, beginning at 6:00 a.m., noon,
6:00 p.m., and midnight.
I
You can change the start time and the duration of each cycle
based on your needs by following the instruction in the chapter
on changing the filtering/heating cycles.
N.B.: when you select "Standard" mode and the filter-
ing/circulation pump is set to the default duration of 24 hours,
