3.1 Use in accordance with the intended purpose

The filtration device is intended to ventilate rooms. It is suitable for exhaustion and
filtration of air in rooms and for supply of clean air in the room.
The fields of application include production and storage halls in which air should be
deprived of contaminating particles such as smoke and dust.
As to smoke and dust, flammable substances may not be used as they can create
explosive mixtures with air the filtration device has not been rated for.
Method of air supply and reverse air flow
• Air from the room is exhausted through the top part of the filtration device,
particles such as smoke and dust are trapped in the filtration unit with the level of
separation better than 99 %. Air treated in this way is recirculated in the room
through the lower part of the filtration device.
This is so called air circulation in the work area (mode with internal air circulation)
at which potential national regulations are to be observed. This may include a
minimum proportion of external air or prohibition of recirculation in case of
handling carcinogenic substances arising e.g. when welding chrome-nickel steels.
Level of separation
• The level of separation of the filtered material is at least 99.9 % according to
DIN EN 60335-2-69.
Disposal
• Particles trapped on the filter surface are removed by pressure impulses after
reaching a certain pressure difference on the filter. The particles drop into a
carrying trough from which they are also removed by action of compressed air.
Dust is removed in a minor cyclone and then drops into a container (collection
bin). The input opening of the bin can be sealed with a sticking label.
• The container with separated substances must be disposed of in an ecological
way in accordance with the regulations of the appropriate country.
