4.4 RECORDING OF DATA
NOTE: The Simple Logger

Once the configuration has been transmitted to the device, the logger is ready to start the programmed
recording.
When data have been stored in memory, the operator can transfer them to a hard disc (see the section on
the downloading of data in the DataView
NOTE: A programmed recording will start even if the Simple Logger
4.4.1 Starting recording
NOTE: Recording cannot start if the memory is full.
1. Connect the device to the source to be measured;
2. Make sure that the logger is in standby mode (see § 4.3);
3. Press the "PRESS" button until the green start LED lights, then release;
4. The green LED indicates recording in progress by a double flash every 5 seconds;
4.4.2 Stopping recording
1. Press the "PRESS" button until the orange stop LED lights, then release;
2. The green LED indicates the standby status by emitting a single flash rather than a double flash every 5
seconds.
The measurement data remain stored even if the device is switched off. The data are recorded in Flash
memory, which requires no power (no losses of data even without a battery). The data can then be
transferred to a desktop computer.
4.5 DOWNLOADING RECORDED DATA
The measurement results stored in the device are transferred to the computer using the "download"
command on the control panel of the Simple Logger
