•
Clean the coffee dispenser in soapy water.
•
Clean the coffee pad cassette and the
ground coffee cassette in soapy water.
•
Clean the cup tray and the drip tray in
soapy water.
•
Clean the water reservoir and the lid of the
water reservoir in soapy water.
•
Rinse the accessories under running water.
Cleaning the water reservoir
(fig. A, C & E)
The water reservoir (13) must be cleaned if it
has not been used for a couple of days.
•
Fill the water reservoir (13) with water up to
the maximum mark in the filling opening of
the lid (18).
•
Place the lid (18) on the water reservoir (13).
•
Place the water reservoir (13) in the
appliance.
•
Place the empty coffee pad cassette (9) in
the appliance.
•
Place two cups under the coffee dispenser
(5).
•
Set the dispenser selector (4) to position
'D'.
•
Press the on/off button (1) to switch on the
appliance.
•
Briefly press the on/off button (1) and the
start/stop button (2) at the same time.
The pump switches off automatically.
•
Set the dispenser selector (4) to position 'A'.
Cleaning the coffee dispenser
filter (fig. A)
The quality of the cream layer reduces when
the coffee dispenser filter is clogged by
calcium or coffee residue. The coffee
dispenser filter must be cleaned regularly.
Caution! If the two filters of the coffee
dispenser filter are pressed against each
other, replace the coffee dispenser filter.
•
Clean the coffee dispenser filter (6) in
soapy water using a soft brush to remove
coffee residue.
•
Pour a small amount of descaling agent
throught the opening of the coffee
dispenser filter (6) to remove calcium.
•
Rinse the coffee dispenser filter (6) under
running water.
Cleaning the milk frothing unit
(fig. A, B, C & K)
Directly after use
The milk frothing unit must be cleaned directly
after use, unless the appliance is used again
within a period of 30 minutes.
•
Put the flexible tube (21) into a cup with
cold water.
•
Place another cup under the milk froth
dispenser (8).
•
Set the dispenser selector (4) to position
'C'. The on/off button (1) becomes blue.
The start/stop button (2) flashes red. The
start/stop button (2) becomes green when
the appliance is ready for use.
•
Set the cup size selector (3) to position 'D'.
•
Press the start/stop button (2).
•
If the process is completed, set the
dispenser selector (4) to position 'A'.
After final use
The milk frothing unit must be cleaned daily
after the last milk frothing process.
•
Remove the milk frothing unit from the
appliance.
•
Disassemble the milk frothing unit.
•
Clean the parts of the milk frothing unit in
soapy water using a soft brush.
•
Fully dry the parts of the milk frothing unit.
•
Assemble the milk frothing unit.
•
Mount the milk frothing unit to the
appliance.
Cleaning the steam valve
(fig. A & L)
The steam valve must be cleaned monthly or
when the appliance clearly produces less
steam.
•
Use the hexagonal key (25) at the underside
of the drip tray (12) to remove the steam
valve (24) from the steam outlet (26).
•
Clean the steam valve (24) using the
descaling agent. Rinse the steam valve
under running water.
•
Manually screw the steam valve (24) back
to the steam outlet (26).
