Display of usage data
By briefly pressing the On/Off key, it is possible to select and display, in succession, the specific
usage data of the electrically power assisted cycle available, relating to:
TRIP = display of partial distance travelled (km or miles)
ODO = display of total distance travelled (km or miles)
MAX = display of maximum recorded speed data (km/h or mph)
AVG = display of average recorded speed data (km/h or mph)
RANGE = display of estimated travel distance data instantaneously measured in standard
conditions and updated in real time according to the remaining battery level and the selected
pedal assist level (km or mile)*
CAL = display of energy consumption data (kCal)
POWER = display of drive unit power output data (W)
TIME = display of duration of use data (min)
The autonomy of the battery supplied with the electrically power assisted cycle and, therefore, the relevant distance data
estimated in km, may vary significantly depending on the specific mode of use (total load transported, how hard the rider
pedals the bike, level of electric pedal assistance detected, how often the rider departs and restarts), the mechanical and
electrical conditions of the product (tyre pressure and wear, battery efficiency level) and external influences (slopes and road
surface, atmospheric conditions).
Indicator light for residual battery charge level
The battery charge level is shown on the display screen as a number of dashes between 0 and 5.
The presence of 5 segments indicates the maximum battery charge range defined as a percentage
and instantaneously detected, corresponding to a residual charge level between 80% and 100% of
its capacity.
The reduction in the number of segments indicates the decreasing battery charge level available
and, consequently, the battery life, as described below:
5 segments = 80-100% residual battery charge level
4 segments = 60-80% residual battery charge level
3 segments = 40-60% residual battery charge level
2 segments = 20-40% residual battery charge level
1 segment = 5-20% residual battery charge level
0 segments (flashing indicator) = < 5% residual battery charge level
The level of the battery charging indicator may fluctuate depending on how the electrically power
assisted cycle is being used, for example, when going up a slope, the level displayed can drop
rapidly as there is a much higher battery consumption.
