Contact your authorised dealer to receive adequate support and/or to be directed to a specialised
operator to guarantee the correct intervention procedures necessary for the installation of the
specific spare parts of the product.
CAUTION
CLEANING
In addition to facilitating the identification of any defects in the installed components, cleaning the
bicycle ensures greater longevity, less wear and better performance.
Exposure to dirt, salt (typical if used in seaside locations), road salt and particular adverse
weather conditions can cause galvanic corrosion of the components and contribute to accelerating
the wear of the surfaces and bearings. Therefore, the bike must be regularly cleaned and
subjected to periodic maintenance by a specialized operator.
Do not use high-pressure water to clean the wheels to avoid the risk of seepage into the hub seals
and permanent damage to the internal bearings.
To clean the product, after turning it off, preferably use a sponge and/or a soft cloth and water,
with the possible addition of a specific neutral detergent and taking particular care in handling the
electrical and electronic parts.
It is strictly forbidden to direct pressurized water jets towards electrical parts.
Before cleaning these components, make sure that all the electrical cables are well connected
and that the special closing cap is present on each door that remains free.
Inspect the battery charging port on the frame for any accumulation of dirt and clean the inside by
using a soft brush or low pressure air; before connecting the battery charger for the subsequent
charge of the product, make sure that all contacts and ports are dry and clean. After washing, it is
important to dry all the washed components, as well as the frame and the braking surfaces with
a second soft cloth and/or dry completely with low pressure compressed air and check that no
residual moisture has remained on the electrical components.
If there are stains on the body of the scooter, wipe with a damp cloth. If the stains persist, apply
neutral soap, brush out with a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Do not clean the items with alcohol, petrol, paraffin or other corrosive or volatile chemical
solvents to prevent severe damage.
CAUTION
Every cleaning operation of the electrically power assisted cycle shall be performed with the
battery removed. In this case, before reinstalling the battery, make sure that it and the inner
surfaces of the battery housing in the down tube of the frame are completely dry and clean.
