5.7 Set up three-phase device for single-phase
operation
For single-phase operation of a three-phase device (for
devices with 11 or 22 kW charging power), the potentiom-
eter at the phase sequence relay must be changed.

5.8 Configuration switches
The charging current and the colour scheme of the LED
info bar are configured via configuration switches. The con-
figuration switches are on the rear side of the front panel.

Description
Single-phase operation
Three-phase operation
Configuration switches S7 and S8 are not cur-
rently used.
f Keep S7 and S8 switched off (OFF).
5.8.1 Limiting the charging current
The charging current provided is limited with configuration
switches S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5.
The charging current is set via a combination of configura-
tion switches. The following current values are assigned to
the configuration switches:
Configuration switches
S1
S2
S3
S4
S5
The charging current is derived from the sum of the indi-
vidual current values of all switched on (ON) configuration
switches.
Example:
S1 = ON and S4 = ON corresponds to a charging current of
9 A.
The maximum charging current provided
depends on the version of the device and cannot
be exceeded.
Î "3.2 Type plate"
Setting a charging current of <6 A is not possible;
this would be considered a limitation to 0 A.
f Limit the charging current according to the available
power.
f Restart the device.
