Flash codes
The tasks described below may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
If the red LED lights permanently, for fault diagnosis the following flash codes are displayed on the device's LED informa-
tion field.
f Press the multi-function or stop button (about 10 mm) to display the flash code.
f Open the device.
Î "5.4 Opening the device"
f Correct the fault by means of the flash codes.
f Replace defective components.
f Close the device.

f Find and correct reason for the increased temperature
(e.g. loose terminal connections, defective components,
cable break, charging current > setpoint, device not suffi-
ciently protected from outside temperature).
f Allow the device to cool down.
f Check plug contacts, charging cable, terminal connections
and cables.
f Clean plug contacts if necessary.
f Check the device with the test box.
f Check contactor, mirror contact, terminal connections and
cables.
f Check: Are cables pressing on the contactor when the hous-
ing is closed?
f Disconnect the device from the mains (for approx. 60 sec-
onds) and restart.
f Check plug contacts between CPX and HMI.
