S. BACKREST
1. Height Adjustment
The backrest comes standard with a 4" height adjustment.
a) Remove the backrest upholstery from the frame.
b) You will see the backrest tube which telescopes into the frame and is secured by hardware (F)
on the side of the frame.
c) There are four holes, 1 inch apart, you may choose from to set the back height.
d) After selecting the proper height, slide the backrest upholstery back on with the overlap
portion unattached.
e) Secure VELCRO
style material on side tubes and attach the excess overlap.

2. Back angle adjustment (Folding Backrest)
An 8° (+/- 5°) angle adjustment is standard on this Quickie wheelchair.
a) Turning the eccentric bolt (G) on the backrest hinge plate will increase or decrease the back
angle.
b) The adjustment on each side of the chair must be exactly equal.
T. SIDEGUARD HARDWARE
Installation of sideguard hardware
a. Position outer receiver hardware (A) on frame.
b. On corresponding inside of the frame position inner clamping hardware (B)
c. Insert two bolts (C) with washer and tighten using 3/16 inch hex key
d. Your sideguard (D) can now be inserted into the receiver.
U. SEAT SLING

1. Adjustment
The seat sling can be adjusted using VELCRO
a) Remove the screws (E) retaining the left side seat sling.
b) Re-adjust Velcro
®
c) Replace screws.
d) If there is any difficulty in reattaching the screws, try using a probe to help line up the holes.
