3. Measure and Cut the Overflow Pipe
Attach the pipe to the overflow ell.
Draw a line on the pipe level with the bottom of the drain ell.
Draw a second line on the pipe 2-1/8" (54 mm) up from the first line.
Remove the pipe from the overflow ell.
Cut the pipe at the second line.
