LOCATI ON OF THE TREADM I LL
Place the equipm ent on a level and stable surface away from direct sunlight. The intense UV light can cause
discoloration on the plastics. Locate the equipm ent in an area with cool tem peratures and low hum idity. Please
leave a clear zone behind the treadm ill that is at least the width of the treadm ill and at least 79" (2 m eters)
long. This zone m ust be clear of any obstruction and provide the user a clear exit path from the m achine. For
ease of access, there should be an accessible space on both sides of the treadm ill of at least 24" (0.6 m eters) to
allow a user access to the treadm ill from either side. Do not place the treadm ill in any area that will block any
vent or air openings. The treadm ill should not be located in a garage, covered patio, near water or outdoors.
LEVELI N G THE TREADM I LL
It is extrem ely im portant that the levelers are correctly adjusted for proper operation. Turn leveling foot
level. An unbalanced unit m ay cause belt m isalignm ent or other issues. Use of a level is recom m ended.
