Use
Vacuum sealing is not a substitute for proper freezing, cooling or conserving of food.
Maintain the usual food storage and hygiene procedures. Do not vacuum pack food
that is above room temperature. Blanch, cool and dry raw cabbages before vacuum
sealing to avoid gases from building inside the vacuum pack. Vacuum-packed meat
might become darker due to the lack of oxygen in the vacuum pack but will return to
its original color once it's unpacked.
