Switch weight decade from 6 to 7, 8 and 9 and insert the proper weight at each stop.
Proceed accordingly w i t h the remaining decades.
Insert weight basket according to fig. 12 and 13.
Clean knife edges and bearings w i t h Chamois leather and use a magnifier to make sure that all contamination has been removed.
If necessary, use alcohol for cleaning.
Assemble the balance according to 2 to 6. Adjust zero point according to fig. 25 and 26
check and adjust sensitivity according to fig. 27 - 29.
Another check should be performed approximately 2 hours after the various adjustments are completed.
A lateral displacement of the scale on the screen not exceeding 2 mm (approximately 1/16") can be corrected
by means of this mirror.
If the deviation is greater, loosen the optics bracket on one side and move it until the scale is properly
positioned on the screen.

Check pan brake: Push pan all the way back against the panel and release.
The pan should stop after 10 to 15 oscillations.
Bend the leaf spring down to increase the breaking power if oscillation continues longer.
