6. USE
WARNING: Do not bring your hands or other
body parts close to the coffee and hot water
dispensing groups, or the steam delivery
wands, while the appliance is working.
6.1 DAILY START-UP
ATTENTION: Before activating the appliance,
make sure the main electricity supply switch
and the main water supply tap are turned on.
• Press the main switch (1 - Fig. 4.1) to turn on the ap-
pliance.

• If the water level is below the minimum, the water heat-
er will be filled to the optimal level.
• At the end of this phase, the lower part of the services
display will show icon 6 - Tab. 5.1.
• During this phase, the boiler is also filled and the heat-
ing phase begins.
• The CHECK BOILER message will appear on the ser-
vices display. When the defined work pressure has
been reached, the appliance is ready to be used.
NB: If one of the dispensing buttons is pressed
now, the dispensing will be made at the current
temperature reached. All the other buttons are
disabled until the correct work pressure value
is reached.
CHECK BOILER
• While waiting for the appliance to be ready, insert the
portafilters (10 - Fig. 4.1) in the dispensing groups.
• The appliance is ready when the services display shows
the work pressure value required.
