WASHING THE COFFEE CIRCUIT
ATTENTION: If the coffee circuit washing cycle
is not run, grease and limescale will build up
more easily and this will reduce the working
efficiency of the appliance.
WARNING: Risk of scalding; do not bring your
hands or other body parts close to the dis-
pensing groups during the washing cycle.
WARNING: Do not remove the portafilter while
the appliance is dispensing.
The coffee circuit washing cycle must be run:
• with the appliance switched on and pressurised;
• at the end of the day, or at the request of the appliance.
NB: The washing request from the appliance
is repeated until the operation is carried out.
With the lockout function active, the beverage
dispensing functions are inhibited if the circuit
has not been washed within an hour of the
request.
The coffee circuit can be washed in different ways:
• Alternated: the washing cycle is run in sequence and
separately on each group. You can continue using the
groups that aren't being washed.
• Duration: 7 minutes for each dispensing group.
• Simultaneous: all the groups are washed at the same
time.
• Duration: 7 minutes in total.
• Single: the washing cycle can be run on a specific
group without necessarily involving the other groups.
You can continue using the groups that aren't being
washed.
• Duration: 7 minutes for each dispensing group.
NB: A single washing cycle cannot be run
when it is the appliance that makes the wash-
ing request.
ATTENTION: When the timed washing cycle
has been launched, it cannot be interrupted
(not even by switching off the appliance).
If there is a sudden power failure, the RUN
WASHING CYCLE message will appear on the
services display when the current returns.
