3.1
Product description
The mechanical head (fig. A) is the terminal that completes the electromechanical harvester produced by the manufacturer
and intended for harvesting. The electromechanical harvester consists of 3 units, sold separately: the head, the drive pole
and the Power Unit (for more details see the Use and Maintenance Manual of the chosen Power Unit). There are different
versions of the units, all of which are compatible with each other, to allow the tool to be composed according to work
requirements.
For a diagram of the possible combinations, see section 2.1 of the manual of the selected power unit.
The operating principle of the tool is to shake the tree branches through the combs (1) with which the head (2) is equipped.
This causes the fruit to fall off.
The two combs (1), made of technopolymer and fitted with carbon fibre prongs (4), are extremely light and strong. The
movement of the combs (1) is generated by a motor and is transmitted to the head by an extension pole (see manual of
the selected power unit).
The mechanical head (2) houses the kinematic mechanism that implements the movement of the combs (1).
CAUTION!
Please refer to the manual of the selected power unit for all indications regarding the operation-drive mode
of the head (2) and prongs (4).
CAUTION!
It must be noted that the tool was solely designed and built for the purposes mentioned above.
NOTE
Optimum efficiency, in terms of battery life, is reached after the first 20 hours of operation.
