Head cleaning
Every 200 working hours, remove dust and dirt and check that the screws are tightened correctly.
CAUTION!
Cleaning the head reduces the formation of friction that would jeopardise performance and autonomy of the
tool.
6.1.3
Replacement of prongs
To replace the prongs (4) proceed as follows:
•
Place the prong support (5) on a vice and hit the tip of the prong (4) with a hammer until it slides out of its seat (fig. D).
•
Insert the new prong into place, taking care to butt the plastic tooth against the wall of the prong support (fig. F).
6.1.4
Storing
Before storing the tool for a long period, it is advisable to:
•
Clean and grease the head (2) at a Service Centre Authorised by the Manufacturer.
Do not leave the tool in the rain when idle. Put it back in its packaging and store it in a dry place.

Extraordinary maintenance
CAUTION!
Any extraordinary maintenance work must be performed at a Service Centre authorised by the Manufacturer.

7.1
Disposal of exhaust materials
After having been installed and while working, the machine does not cause any environment pollution. In any
case, all through its working life, some types of waste or exhaust materials are produced in certain situations.
There are specific regulations in every country about environmental protection, including how to dispose of these
materials. The Customer must be aware of the Laws in force in their country and operate in compliance with
these laws and the instructions provided in the technical data sheets of the products used, which can be re-
quested from the Manufacturer.

The Laws in force about the disposal of mineral oils must be followed.
CAUTION!
More information about the disposal of oils and other substances can be found in the safety data sheets of the
substances.
The steps employed in the disposal of toxic waste including the collecting, transporting, processing (transfor-
mation for recycling), as well as the depositing and the dumping onto the ground are all usual activities of com-
mon interest and are subject to the following general principles:
a) Any damage or danger to the health and safety of the community and any individual must be
avoided.
b) Compliance with any and all hygienic-sanitary requirement and avoidance of any air, water, ground
and underground pollution have to be guaranteed.
