Lithium-Ion Battery Preparation for Shipment
You can prepare IMPRES 2 or other Motorola Solutions Lithium-Ion batteries for shipment by air cargo using
an IMPRES 2 Multi-Unit Charger. Other battery types are faulted.
If the IMPRES 2 Lithium-Ion battery is equipped with a Sleep mode, the charger puts the battery to sleep
upon completion of Ship Lithium charge.
Prepare only stand-alone Motorola Solutions Lithium-Ion batteries for shipment. Remove the battery from the
radio before placing it into the charger.
Do not store a stand-alone battery in the charger. When preparation for Lithium shipment is complete,
immediately remove the stand-alone battery from the charger. Selection of Lithium shipment supersedes
calibration or reconditioning.
