The Davide – Golia and Magnum mill models are ideal for producing a greater quantity of flours than stews.
The Bravò mill is ideal for producing a greater quantity of stews than flour.
The dustproof container for the ground product has a handle for transport and an innovative lid that closes automatically when it is unhooked from the
device, thus allowing the ground product to be optimally preserved for the necessary time. The 'triple safety' unit with which the device is equipped pre-
vents accidental access to moving parts, immediately cutting off the power supply to the device and preventing accidental ignition in any way.
In the event of an overload, all the devices have the engine protected by an automatic reclosing or manual reclosing current cut-off thermal device (see

• Remove the device from the packaging and check that everything is in-
tact
• Place the device on a flat surface.
• Assemble any parts supplied (FIG. 1), taking care to adequately block
everything.
• Assemble the three leg (i) as shown in FIG. 2 (F – F1-F2) making sure that
they are correctly mounted in their seats, pushing them all the way inside
the hopper (b) and fixing them with the 3 screws (t) so that the two cou-
plings (m-m1) intersect perfectly (FIG. 2 F1-F2)
• Assemble the three legs ( ), pushing them until the lower end of the leg
(i) reaches their internal stop.
• Sieve assembly:
- in mills with the hatch (o) already assembled (Davide, Golia, Bravò), di-
sassemble it by unscrewing the three handwheels (d-e) anticlockwise
as indicated in Fig. 3- G; otherwise proceed with the next step
- insert the material discharge nozzle (p) in its seat, as shown in FIG 3 - I
- if the mill already has a sieve (q), make sure that this is correctly posi-
tioned; otherwise, place the chosen sieve in its seat (see FIG. H – H1)
depending on the desired grinding
- reposition the hatch (o) by screwing the 3 handwheels (d-e)
clockwise, positioning them as indicated in FIG. 3-I making sure that
the two short handwheels (d) are inserted into the holes (u) and the
long handwheel (e) is inserted all the way into the hole (v).
• Assemble the dust container as follows:
- Place the device on a flat surface at operator level
- Apply the self-hooking lid (n) to the collection container (h), FIG. 4-L
- Compress the lid (n) and position it to hook it to the vent (p) then
release it so that it can be positioned in its seat.
- Connect the plug to the mains socket
- Test its proper operation by pressing the start button (c) for a few se-
conds (see FIG. 1 -E)
WarnIng
• For grinding cereals, it is advisable to start the mill empty (DAVIDE and
GOLIA); if it is not possible to do otherwise, the device can be started un-
der load.
• In the case of the MAGNUM 4V mill for grinding bread and in the case of
the BRAVò 4V mill, start-up must always be carried out with no load and
with the gate valve (r) in the closed position, by acting on the appropriate
handwheel (f) (FIG. 1-C).

Failure to comply with this rule will result in the engine starting up with
consequent damage for which the manufacturer declines any and all lia-
bility.
• Loading the grain into the device:
- make sure that the cereal is dry, clean, free of straw and/or impurities
and suitably selected.
- pour the cereal into the appropriate hopper (b) up to and not
beyond the load level (a) inside the same (see FIG. 4-M)
• In the case of the BRAVÒ 4V mill (which must always be started empty)
before pouring the cereal into the hopper (b), bring the gate valve (r)
to the closed position, by acting on the special handwheel (f) (FIG. 1-C)
then, only after starting, the flow of cereal towards the blades will be
adjusted by gradually opening it in the most suitable position, so as
not to overload the engine. At the end of the grinding process, a few
minutes before stopping it, the gate valve must be closed to prevent
the flow of grain to the blades, thus allowing the grain to be emptied
into the grinding chamber.
• N.B.: the MAGNUM 4V mill is set up to grind dry bread, consider that
dry bread is easily pulverized without the possibility of determining
its thickness based on the hole in the sieve; therefore, insert any sieve
(q) provided and secure it correctly to activate the security device. Pay
attention to ensure that the bread is dry and must be introduced in
small pieces by lifting the door (s1) of the appropriate grinding duct (s),
only for the time necessary for introduction, letting it close immediately
(FIG 1-D). Keep the gate valve (r) closed by acting on the appropriate
handwheel (f) (FIG. 1-C), to prevent the grain from being ground at
the same time.
MaInTenance and cLeanIng
Before carrying out any maintenance, adjustment or cleaning operation,
always switch off the device using the switch, remove the plug from the
mains socket and wait for the engine to stop.
After each use, to keep the device always efficient, it is advisable to carry
out a thorough cleaning with a brush and/or cloth, using a jet of com-
pressed air, without using liquid substances.
Make sure that the seats of the accessories (sieve, handwheel...) are well
fixed and free of material resulting from the grinding.
Maintenance must be considered limited to the normal periodic checks
of both the moving parts and the power cable and the electrical parts
external to the device, to ascertain any damage or wear.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by minors, incapable
