5) Repair
•
Apply the general recommendations given on page 3.
•
For all installation/re-installation operations, refer to the installation instructions supplied with the product
•
Repair operations must be performed by qualified and accredited personnel. The standard practices of each
specialised trade (mechanics, hydraulics, electricity and pneumatics) must be respected.
•
Do not re-tighten connections under pressure.
•
Avoid any contact with hydraulic oil during these operations (during draining, collect this oil).
•
During post-maintenance testing, the operator must ensure that there are no personnel in the area in which
bar movements occur.
•
If the product needs to be re-painted, mask;
- the jack rods,
- the nameplate (CE marking – attached to the right-hand arm) and the pictograms so that they remain
legible.
6) Recommendations in the event of a failure
•
In the event of a split hose or a hydraulic leak between the balancing valve and the cylinder, use the
locking bolts located on the tube bracket to lock the bar in the required position.
•
For other types, do not continue driving until the necessary repairs have been carried out.
•
In the event of a failure of the bar deployment control or a sensor fault:
For the BAB type, place the bar in the driving position, open the drains and lock the bar in position using the
-
bolts with their pins (see above).
For other types (Expand, Hydden-up, BA (page 1)), do not continue driving until the necessary repairs have
-
been carried out.
