Disposal of inoculator sets
Consider trough and lid materials that come in contact with
patient samples as potential biohazards and treat according
to local biohazard handling and disposal procedures.
• Always follow universal, safe laboratory practices when
handling specimens, troughs, lids, panels, or any surfaces
or instruments that can contact biological specimens.
• Follow your local or regional regulations for disposing of
biohazardous specimens or consumables.

Ordering inoculator sets
Contact your Beckman Coulter representative for inoculator
set ordering information. Refer to the part numbers listed
above.
Instrument disposal
The Instrument disposal process includes decontaminating
and e-waste recycling or disposing of mechanical or
electronic components. Bench-top instruments that have
reached end-of-life, can be decontaminated and disposed by
the customer according to laboratory, local, and regional
e-waste regulations.
Instruments must be decontaminated first. This minimizes the
risk of biohazards to the environment and to the personnel.

Warranty statement
The system is covered by and subject to the provisions of the
warranty included in your contractual agreement for the system or its
reagents.
The customer is responsible for routine preventative maintenance
procedures. Repairs arising from the failure to perform these
maintenance procedures at the indicated time intervals are made at
the discretion of Beckman Coulter, and at the customer's expense.
The RENOK Rehydrator/Inoculator System is guaranteed to be free of
mechanical defects for a period of one year. During the warranty
period, Beckman Coulter will replace a unit which is found to exhibit
defects in materials, workmanship or performance when used
according to the procedural manual.

Expected lifetime - RENOK Instruments
The RENOK Rehydrator/Inoculator System has been manufactured
and marketed in the U.S. (since the early 1980s) and worldwide (since
1990). Based on historical usage, Beckman Coulter claims that the
service life of the product can be expected to exceed 7 years under
the defined laboratory conditions identified in the product labeling.
As long as the instrument follows the recommended preventive
maintenance schedule, the product will perform within the stated
product claims.
Notice to user
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to this software or
device shall be reported to the manufacturer and the appropriate U.S.
and country authority (for IVD products) or appropriate authority of
the EU Member State (for IVDR products) in which the user and/or
the patient is established.
