3 Product description
Protective insulation. Appliances marked
with this symbol are insulated with additional
insulation and may be operated with a two-
pole connection cable without a protective
earth conductor (earthing).
For indoor use. Indicates that setting up
the product outdoors is not allowed.
Read the user guide. Indicates that the
operating instructions or the operating card
should be read before continuing using the
product.
Nominal duty cycle. Maximum activation
time (switch-on time) followed by a minimum
deactivation time (switch-off time) required

CE marking. Used to symbolise the
conformity of the product with the applicable
requirements imposed on the manufacturer

UKCA marking. Used to symbolise the
conformity of the product with the applicable
requirements imposed on the manufacturer

conformity with the regulations for Waste
Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
and the Electrical and Electronic Equipment
Act (ElektroG). Electrical and electronic
products must be disposed of separately
from household waste at the end of their
service life.
