Changing the Oil Filter
Replace oil filter every 200 hours of operation.
1. Drain engine oil, and retighten the drain bolt.
Note: In the interests of environmental protection, place a plastic sheet and a
container under the machine to collect any liquid which drains off. Dispose of this
liquid, and used oil filter, in accordance with environmental protection legislation.
2. Remove the used oil filter and lightly oil filter
gasket with fresh, clean engine oil before
installing the new oil filter.
3. Screw the new oil filter (a) on by hand until gasket
makes contact, then tighten an additional 1/2 to
3/4 turn (12 Nm) using an oil filter socket tool (b).
4. Fill the crankcase with the specified amount of the
recommended engine oil, see Checking and
Changing the Engine Oil and Engine.
5. Start and run engine to check for leaks.
6. Stop engine and recheck engine oil level and add
engine oil if required.
WARNING
Most used oil contains small amounts of materials that can cause cancer and other
health problems if inhaled, ingested, or left in contact with skin for prolonged
periods of time.
► Take steps to avoid inhaling or ingesting used engine oil.
► Wash skin thoroughly after exposure to used engine oil.

Fuse Replacement
The engine will not start if the fuse is
blown.
1. Turn the engine switch OFF.
2. Remove the fuse holder (a) and
replace the fuse with a new 10A
fuse.
NOTICE: If repeated failure occurs,
determine the cause and correct the
problem before operating the machine.
Use only 10A rated fuses. Serious
damage to the electrical system or a fire
may result.
