5.
Immerse the upper part of the steam wand 1/3 into the milk and set the knob
to "MAX". Gradually move the top of the steam wand to the point where it is
just below the surface of the milk but not above the surface. A bubbling noise
will be heard and the milk will swirl in the milk jug, causing air to enter the
milk.
6.
When you have made enough milk froth, insert the steam tube deep into the
milk and let the temperature of the milk rise to about 66 ℃, then the milk
frothing process is complete. Stop the steam supply by turning the steam
knob clockwise while pressing the steam button.
7.
First pour the espresso into the coffee cup and then pour the frothed milk
over it. The cappuccino is now ready. Add desired amount of sugar or cocoa
powder according to taste.
Note: The steam nozzle must not rest on the milk surface so that it is not
scalded, which leads to milk splashes.
Tips for preparing cappuccino:
If there are noticeable bubbles in the milk froth, tap the milk cup to remove
some large bubbles. Then swirl the milk cup horizontally to fully mix the milk
and milk froth.
If you want to prepare more than one cappuccino, first prepare the coffee for
all cups and only then the milk froth for all cappuccinos.
To make coffee again after frothing the milk, cool the kettle first, otherwise
the coffee will burn.
Notes: It is recommended not to use the espresso machine after steam
production until it has cooled down for at least 10 minutes. Alternatively, it can
be cooled manually with pump water. Otherwise your Italian coffee may taste
"burnt".
Manual pump water cooling of the espresso machine
If the espresso machine is in the overheating alarm state, the on/off indicator
light, the one cup indicator light and the two cup indicator light are flashing
simultaneously. Turn the steam knob anti-clockwise and press the one-cup
button (3) or the two-cup button (8) to start the espresso machine. Hot water
flows out of the steam pipe. When the thermometer falls and reads between
80-120 ℃ (position of the coffee symbol), the device is ready to make coffee
again.
Cleaning after preparing milk froth
1.
After preparing milk froth, the steam pipe should be cleaned with a damp
cloth as soon as possible to prevent milk residue from adhering to the steam
pipe.
