Basic safety instructions
Before using this product, carefully read these instructions
for use and those of the associated products.
Strictly follow the instructions for use. The user must fully
understand and strictly observe the instructions. Use the
product only for the purposes specified in the intended use
section of this document.
Do not dispose of the instructions for use. Ensure that they
are retained and appropriately used by the user.
Only expert personnel may use this product.
Do not use a faulty or incomplete product. Do not modify
the product.
Notify Dräger in the event of any component fault or failure.
Comply with all local and national rules and regulations
associated with this product.
Only trained and competent personnel are permitted to
inspect, repair and service the product. Dräger recommend
a Dräger service contract for all maintenance activities and
that all repairs are carried out by Dräger.
Use only genuine Dräger spare parts and accessories for
maintenance work. Otherwise, the functional integrity of
the product may be impaired.

Product-related safety instructions
Not for operation in explosion-hazard areas
This product is neither approved nor certified for use in
explosion-hazard areas.
Do not manipulate pressurised components
Manipulation of pressurised components, such as hoses, can
result in these components becoming disconnected abruptly,
causing life-threatening injuries due to the pressure surge.
Any work on components must be carried out only when
the component is depressurised.
With all described procedures, the valves should always be
opened and closed slowly.
Never unfasten or tighten hose lines and pipe screw
connections under pressure.
Do not use if breathing air is contaminated
Only breathing air may be used as the medium. The quality of
the air supply must meet the requirements for breathing air
according to DIN EN 12021.
Compliance with national laws and regulations
Test requirements of the respective applicable standards and
regulations for the product must be taken into account.

Definitions of alert icons
The following alert icons are used in this document to indicate
and highlight areas of the associated text that require particular
attention by the user. A definition of the meaning of each icon
is as follows:
DANGER
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation. If not avoided, it
could result in injuries and damage to the product or
environment. It may also be used to alert against unsafe
practices.
