Prerequisite for mounting
Either the existing fixing holes can be used or new fixing holes
can be drilled.
If you need to drill holes yourself, the holes must only be made
in the area shown in the diagram. A minimum distance of
25 mm (a) from the centre and a minimum distance of 10 mm
(b) to the outer edge must be maintained.
The screw depth must not exceed 8 mm (c), otherwise the
device cylinder may be damaged.
c
Procedure
1. If necessary, drill new fixing holes in the specified area of
the mounting plate.
2. Secure the mounting plate using at least four M6 screws.
Screw locks must be used, such as locking washers or self-
locking nuts.
4.2
Before use
1. If the device cylinder to be used does not have a buffered
base, the supplied buffer must be glued to the centre of the
bottom of the mounting plate before inserting the device
cylinder.
2. Open the fastener of the cylinder straps.
3. If necessary, continue to adjust the cylinder straps so that
the device cylinder can be pushed in.

4. Insert the device cylinder with the base first. Do not insert
the device cylinder with the valve pointing towards the
bottom of the mounting plate.
5. Align the cylinder valve of the device cylinder parallel to the
quick connect coupling on the side. The cylinder valve
must not be turned back too far, otherwise the residual
pressure warning whistle will collide with the extraction
couplings.
6. Adjust the cylinder straps so that the device cylinder sits
tightly when the fasteners of the cylinder straps are closed.
7. Close the fasteners of the two cylinder straps. It must not
be possible to move the device cylinder by hand.
8. Connect the pressure reducer unit to the cylinder valve and
tighten by hand.
9. Remove the dust cap from the quick connect coupling on
the side and from the end of the hose.
10. Connect the open end of the hose to the quick connect
coupling on the side of the extraction points.
11. Remove the dust caps from the extraction points to be used
and insert the corresponding hoses into the quick connect
couplings.
12. It is recommended to stow the connected PPE in mask
bags and position them so that they can be reached
quickly.
