ANALOG SIGNAL RECORDING
1 Insert a cassetie.
See page 24.
2 Set the INPUT switch to select the in-
put signal.
LINE:
Recording from equipment with LINE
OUT terminal
MIC1 or MIC 2: Recording with a microphone
3 Set the SP/LP switch to select the re-
cording mode and sampling fre-
quency.
LP32k: For long-time recording
SP48k or 44.1k: For standard recording
4 Set the REC LEVEL switch to select
recording level setting.
AUTO: To adjust the recording level automaii-
cally
MANU: To adjust the recording level manually
with the REC VOL control
5 Press the B™ II PLAY/PAUSE button
while holding down the @ RECORD
button.
The unit stands by for recording.
6 Adjust the recording level.
When the REC LEVEL switch is set to "MANU"
or when recording with a microphone, adjust
the recording level as shown on page 40.
7 Press the II
PLAY/PAUSE button.
Recording starts and "START ID" flashes.
Selecting the sampling frequency
Keep the following advice in mind.
¢ Select "48k" for higher quality recording.
¢ Select "44.1k" when you intend to dub a re-
corded tape to MD (mini disk).
e Select "32k" for long-time recording or record-
ing conversation.
