Display during recording/play-
back
The display window changes as below each time
the DISPLAY button is pressed briefly. —> EY
© Absolute time display (A-TIME)
Displays the elapsed recording time from the
beginning of the tape.
© Program time display (P-TIME)
Displays the elapsed recording time from the
position where the start ID is encoded.
© Counter display (COUNTER)
Displays the tape counter from the position
where the counter is reset.
To reset the counter, press the RESET button.
© Remain display (REMAIN)
Displays the remaining time of the tape.
© Sampling frequency display
Displays the sampling frequency for recording.
Example: Sampling frequency of 48 kHz
@ Margin display
Displays the margin to reach OVER in dB.
The display shows the minimum margin level
from the moment when the margin display is
selected.
To cancel the minimum margin level, press the
RESET button.
Example:
10 dB to reach OVER
Backlight of the display window
When the AC adapior is used, the display window
is always backlit. When the rechargeable battery
or the dry cell batteries are used, the display win-
dow is backlit for about 15 seconds by pressing
the DISPLAY button.
