Searching for the Beginning of
a Track
Searching back to the beginning of the
track you are listening to or a previous
track => EY
Press the I
REW button briefly during play-
back.
Example: When the 4
REW button is pressed
three times.
Two tracks before is searched for and played back
from the beginning.
Searching ahead to the beginning of a
track —> EJ
Press the >} FF button briefly during playback.
Example: When the PPI FF bution is pressed
five times.
Five tracks ahead is searched for and played back
from the beginning.
e Press the fi
PLAY/PAUSE button during
searching or in pause mode to start playback.
e Searching cannot be done if the start ID is not
encoded. (For encoding start IDs, see page 56.)
Searching for the Desired Part
of a Track (Cue and Review
Functions)
Hold down the kK REW button or >P1 FF but-
ton during playback. The sound can be heard at
a low level while the button is depressed. Check
the sound and the display window and release
the button at the desired position.
