bon cable
The ribbon cable can be damaged if handled without
proper care (see Figure 6).
Be careful during assembly and installation.
Ensure before assembly that all requirements are ful-
filled.
1. Check the model name on the rating plate on the
outer cover to clearly identify the model variant
of the Wallbox.
The model name and the values for the mains
connection (mains voltage, current, frequency)
specified below it are particularly relevant for
identification. g Refer to chapter "Technical
Data" on page 41.
2. Remove 10 in of insulation from the infrastruc-
ture cable.
The minimum length behind the section where
the insulation has been removed depends on
which direction the infrastructure cable comes
from: bottom, rear, top.
–
Cable from below: Route the cable di-
rectly to the relevant housing break-out 1
g (Fig. 12).
The freely available cable length including
the stripped section (10 in) must be 16 in.
–
Cable from the rear: Position the cable exit
from the wall at the height of the bottom left
mounting position 1 g (Fig. 12).
The freely available cable length including
the stripped section (10 in) must be 14 in.
–
Cable from above: The freely available cable
length including the stripped section (10 in)
must be 33 in.
3. Applies to: Porsche Wallbox in acc. w. the cali-
bration law:
Check that the seal on the rating plate and the
manufacturer's seals are present and undam-
aged.
Fit the Wallbox
Fig. 12: Mounting plate
1. Mark off the positions of the holes on the wall as
shown in the drilling template 2 g (Fig. 12).
2. Drill the holes into the wall as shown.
3. Insert dowels (0.32 in) for the Spax screws
(6x60 stainless steel).

.
Select suitable fastening material as needed for
the condition of the wall.
4. Fasten the mounting plate with screws 2
g (Fig. 12).
5. Pierce the cable bushing (KEL-SCDP 50) with a
slotted screwdriver and use a side cutter to cut
off the required length in accordance with the
table of cross-sections.
The intended position for the cable bushing
(KEL-SCDP 50) has been pre-drilled.
