– Number buttons: Enter the number of the desired
teletext page as a three-digit number using the
number buttons. The teletext counter searches as
long as it takes to find the selected page number.
.. Audio language
You can set the desired audio language of the current
channel here. The setting options vary, depending on the
current programme.
.. Subtitle
Activate/deactivate the desired subtitle of the current
channel. The setting options vary, depending on the cur-
rent programme. You can also access this option by press-
ing the S U B T I T L E button.
.. Recording list
You can open the list of all existing and scheduled record-
ings here. Using a filter, you can display all recordings or
only genre-specific recordings.
Select this option above the recordings (default ALLE)
and press O K . Then select the desired genre. Only re-
cordings corresponding to this genre are displayed.
Use the BEARBEITEN option to delete recordings.
Select this option and press O K .
Then highlight the desired recording and press the
button. Press LÖSCHEN to confirm the subsequent
prompt and delete it.
.. PVR
You can use this option to start a recording of the cur-
rent programme. You will find more detailed information
about this in the "PVR recording" section on page 18.
To record programmes you must con-
nect a USB storage medium (e.g. an
external hard disk) to a USB port.
.. Timeshift
You can use this option to pause the current programme
and then continue watching it later. While the programme
is paused, a temporary recording runs in the background,
which you can then start as desired.

timeshift recording. The TV picture then pauses.
Then press the
button to call up the virtual media

You can operate the recording and playback using the

recording. You can then use the same button
to play the timeshift recording and watch the
programme with a time delay.
Stop timeshift playback and return to non-
timeshift TV mode.

various speeds with this button: x1/2, x1/4, x2,
x4, x8, x16

If you call up the virtual media buttons with

.. HbbTV
Activate/deactivate the HbbTV option here.
HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) enables a combi-
nation of broadcasting and Internet content that can usu-
ally be accessed and displayed by pressing the red button
on the remote control.
HbbTV services include conventional radio/TV stations,
catch-up TV, video on demand, EPG, interactive advertis-
ing, customisation options, polls, games, social networks
and other multimedia applications.
HbbTV applications can only be called up if the broadcast-
ing station transmits these signals and the TV is connect-
ed to the internet. The scope and operation vary depend-
ing on the programme and channel.
Whether a channel offers HbbTV applications or not, is
shown via a brief on-screen display. The exact form and
position depends on the individual application. Use the
red button to open and close the application pages. Nav-
igation within the applications is carried out by using the
colour buttons on the remote control, but this can vary
depending on the channel and the programme. Observe
the messages within the applications.
