General information
General information
All tools are protected from overheating the motor
by a device which cuts the power if the tempera-
ture rises abnormally. When the temperature goes
down again, the overheat protection device resets
automatically.
Electrical protection is based on two systems. One
is passive and earths the entire equipment and the
other system is using a fuse.
Changing, interfering or tampering with the pro-
tective systems voids all warranty and obligation
from Atlas Copco.
Trouble-shooting and re-start of the system may
only be carried out by an authorized person.
Also check the continuity of the ground loop from
the tool body to proper earth. This control is rec-
ommended to be carried out at least once every
month.
