quirements of the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU).
Information concerning Waste of Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE):
This product and its information, meets the re-
quirements of the WEEE Directive (2012/19/EU),
and must be handled according to the directive.
The product and/or its battery are marked with a
crossed trashcan, see figure below.
The symbol indicates that parts within the product
must be handled in accordance with the WEEE Di-
rective. These parts are indicated as "WEEE" in

the Spare part list, see under Remarks.
The entire product, or the WEEE parts, can be sent

Installation
General installation requirements
Compression spring
The QST nutrunners are delivered with two
springs. The strong spring is built in the front part.
Clamping
No clamping is allowed on the transducer, the gear
unit or the motor unit. Clamping on these areas
will interfere with the transducer.
Motor connector
The motor connector is rotatable ± 150 degrees
along two axes.
Handling
Preventing ESD problems
The components inside the tool and controller are
sensitive to electrostatic discharge. To avoid future
malfunction, make sure that service and mainte-
nance is carried out in an ESD approved work en-
vironment. The figure below shows an example of
an appropriate service work station.
