12.2 Installing fluorescence filter (IM-300LD4 / LD4D)

This procedure can be needed when installing new fluo-
rescence cubes or when replacing an existing cube with
a different one.
1. Disconnect the power supply plug from the microscope.
2. Unscrew the filter selector lever.
3. Open the side cover of the illuminator, by unscrewing the
side screws ①. (Fig. 33)
4. Remove the filter slider from the microscope and put it on a
table.
5. Using the screws provided with the fluorescence cube, fix the
new cube on the slider. (Fig. 34)
6. Reinstall the filter slider on the microscope.
7. Close the side cover.
8. Apply the adhesive marker ② for the fluorescence cube on
the side cover. (Fig. 35)
9. Connect the power supply.
10. Start working.
12.3 Use of the Anti-glow cap
Use the anti-glow cap to prevent flare coming from the condenser
front lens. (Fig. 36)
