Honda and Briggs & Stratton (including Vanguard) engines
are warranted directly by the engine manufacturer.
Euramco can assist you in obtaining this service if
necessary. Euramco warns against the use of fuel with the
addition of ethanol as this will plug orifices and jets when
the blower is stored for prolonged periods without running
and this cleaning is not warranted.
Electric motors
Supplied power must conform with the labeled voltage and
frequency. Electric motors are warranted for 12 months
from date of purchase by Euramco and warranty services
are obtained directly from Euramco.
Hazardous Location Blowers
Hazardous Location blowers bearing the EX Mark are
warranted to be compliant with the ascribed certification
and the Certificate of Conformity issued at the time the unit
leaves Euramco warehousing. All received units should be
inspected upon receipt for any damage to any part of the
electrical wiring, plugs, enclosures, switches, motor,
housing, fan blade, grille, and fasteners.
The user of this equipment is responsible for maintaining
the certification rating by periodic and planned inspection
of the equipment and as a minimum, prior to using the
equipment for its intended purpose. Any compromise to
any of the electrical components or housing and blade may
create unsafe operating conditions and the unit should not
be used in potentially hazardous areas. Explosion-proof
does not imply waterproof; water-entry into the motor can
cause corrosive damage to the bearings creating noise and
shortening life. This type of damage is not covered under
the warranty.

Lithium-ion battery packs
RAMFAN lithium-ion battery packs are subject to a limited
life depending on number of charge/discharge cycles,
conditions of storage, average depth of discharge and
physical mishandling. As the packs age, energy storage
declines, which the user will note as not holding a charge or
not as many minutes of runtime.
For peak performance, battery(s) should be replaced when
runtime is reduced to <20%. Degradation of battery
performance is not warranted, as degradation occurs with
time as well as number of cycles. The limited warranty
extended to the user is for a fully functioning battery to
hold a full, as-advertised, watt-hour charge at time of
purchase, and to be functioning for the period of warranty
above. Reduction of charge capacity is dependent on type
and severity of use, number of cycles and time in service
and thus not warrantable.
There are no serviceable parts inside a battery pack. Do not
attempt to disassemble the battery pack as it can lead to
water ingress, shorting or other damage. Do not attempt to
charge a wet battery; refer to the battery operator's manual
for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage is not
covered under warranty. If a battery pack has been
subjected to immersion, direct impingement of strong jets
of water (i.e., fire hose) or exposed to flame or excessive
heat, the battery should be taken out of service and
replaced. This is a matter of safe practice. Please refer to
the Maintenance Schedule and Battery Storage Guidelines
included in the EX50Li/EX150Li operational manual, failure
to follow these could result in non-warrantable issues.
Lithium-ion batteries can unexpectedly fail. The user has
control of many of the causes including but not limited to
bad handling (dropping), exposure to excessive heat and
storing at full charge for extended periods. For this reason,
DO NOT STORE BATTERIES OR FAN IN THE PROXIMITY OF
FLAMMABLE VAPORS, LIQUIDS OR SOLIDS. Secondary
damage will not be reimbursed when proper storage
procedures are not followed.
RAMFAN R2-40V and M1-52V batteries have a prorated
warranty. The charge capacity is warranted for 6 months.
After the first six months, the purchaser will be reimbursed
for the remaining portion of the warranty. Example: a
battery with a 3-year warranty fails in 1.5 years. Euramco
Group will provide a 50% direct to end user discount towards
the purchase of a new battery.
