Wear eye protection
Do not wear long clothing or jewels, as they could get caught by the moving parts.
Keep focused on what you are doing and use common sense when operating the tool. Do not use the tool if you are
tired or under the effect of drugs, alcohol or medicines.
Do not use the pruning shear in the rain.
The tool has been designed to prune branches. Do not use it for cutting hard wood or other objects.
Do not try to unlock the blades if the tool stops before switching it off. Put the switch in OFF position.
Before starting any pruning operations check there are no hidden objects or wires among the branches.
When operating the tool, hold it tightly with one hand and keep the blades at least 15 cm away from the other hand
and any other parts of your body.
Do not use the tool close to flammable liquids or gasses in order to avoid any fire or explosion risks.
The blades must be regularly checked for wear and tear and, if necessary, sharpened. Blunt blades overload the
tool. Resulting damages are not covered by any warranty.
Do not try to repair the tool yourself. Bring it to an Authorized Service Point in case of need. All repair and
maintenance operations which are not described in this manual can only be performed by an Authorized Service
Point.

Special safety instruction for battery-operated tools

Make sure the battery switch is in OFF position before connecting the tool to the battery. The equipment can be
damaged if the connection is carried out with the switch in ON position.
The battery charger has been designed for indoor use only. All charging operations must be performed indoor.
Disconnect the battery before cleaning its charger, in order to avoid damages and electrical shock.
Do not expose the battery to the sun or to intense light. Do not put the battery in contact with hot surfaces. The
battery could explode.
Let the battery cool completely before charging it.
Do not disassemble or damage the battery, in order to avoid any injuries.
When it is not used,
will get damaged. The warranty becomes void if this indication on the frequency of the recharges is not respected

Correct use of the battery charger

Use the charger only with rechargeable batteries, otherwise it could cause fires or explosions. Use original chargers
only.
Always check the charger, the cable and the plug before any use. If they are damaged, take them to an Authorised
Service Point for repair or replacement. Do not use damaged battery chargers. Do not try to repair them by yourself.
This will keep the equipment safe.
Check that the charger voltage matches that of the battery, otherwise it could cause injuries.
Disconnect the charger before operating the battery switch.
Keep the charger clean and away from humid environments and rain. Do not use the charger outdoors. Dirt or water
can cause injuries or equipment damages.
The charger is designed for being used it with original batteries only, otherwise it could cause fire or explosions.
Do not use damaged chargers to reduce injury risks.
Do not use the charger on flammable surfaces, such as paper.
The battery is not fully charged when you buy it. It must be charged for 4-5 hours before the first use of the tool.
Usual charging time is 4-5 hours. Do not charge the battery too long, in order to avoid any battery damages. Charge
the battery only just one led light is on. This will ensure a longer battery life.

Warning (residual risk)

Even if the electric tool is used properly, some risks will still exist. The tool may create the following dangers due to
its own structural characteristics.
A prolonged or unreasonable use of the tool can cause injuries to the operator.

The equipment can produce electromagnetic waves and interfere with electro-medical devices. It is suggested to
consult a doctor before using the tool in the presence of electro-medical devices.

Don't touch the blades when the battery is connected to the tool.
Keep a minimum distance of 15 cm between the blades and any part of your body.
Keep other people at a minimum distance of 1.5 m away from the tool.
