SERVICING MANUAL
5. FUNCTIONS AND CLEANING
·
We recommend disconnecting the juicer from the power be-
fore cleaning.
·
Do not wash the juicer with direct jets of water and/or at high
pressure.
·
The parts in the squeezing zone of the juicer should be cleaned
every day (cups, balls, squeezing tray, filter tray, cutting blade
and front cover), following the cleaning instructions.
·
The juicer produces citrus juice with pH no higher than 4.5,
and it is therefore not considered to be a potentially hazard-
ous foodstuff.
5.1. GETTING STARTED
·
Choose the cup and ball size depending on the size of the fruit
to be squeezed. See Accessories chapter.
·
Switch the machine on at the power
switch [Fig. 19]. Once it is switched
on, the oval display and the Select
and Play/Pause buttons will flash
for several seconds. The display will
then show a number from 1 to 99 in-
dicating the quantity of fruits to be
squeezed. The oval display and the
number will then switch off. The Se-
lect and Play/Pause buttons remain
on, indicating that the machine is
ready to squeeze.

·
Depending on the quantity of fruit you want to squeeze, inter-
mittently press the Select button. The number on the display
will increase from 1 to 99. If, on the other hand, you press the
Select button for more than 2 seconds, the number will de-
crease.
·
Carry out this operation until the required number is displayed.
·
After selecting the quantity and when squeezing has finished,
the number is memorised even if the machine is switched off,
and it will not change until a new selection is entered.
·
When pressing the Play/Pause button, the machine will
squeeze the number of fruits on the display. If you want to
repeat the operation, press Play/Pause again. To stop the pro-
cess press the Play/Pause button.
·
If you want to check the number of fruits to squeeze, press
the Select button.
5.2. STOPPING THE MACHINE
The machine can be stopped as follows:
·
By pressing the Play/Pause button.
·
By switching the machine off at the power switch.
5.3. STAND-BY
The machine features an energy-saving system, which automati-
cally activates after a few minutes. When the machine is in Stand-
By mode, the brightness of the Select and Play/Pause buttons is
dimmed.
To exit this mode, press the Select button.
