• Over insensitive areas of skin.
• On the opposite sides of your
head, because the effects of
brain stimulation are unknown.
• To your head, face, the front
and sides of your neck, your
throat, or on both sides of your
thorax.
• To stimulate the carotid sinus
nerves, particularly in patients
with a known sensitivity to the
carotid sinus reflex.
• To stimulate your front neck or
mouth, because this could
cause severe muscle spasms
resulting in closure of your
airway, difficulty in breathing, or
adverse effects on heart
rhythm or blood pressure.
• Across your chest because the
effect of electrical current on
the heart may cause cardiac
arrhythmias.
• On open wounds, rashes, swol-
len, red, infected or inflamed
areas or skin eruptions or on
top of or close to cancerous
lesions.
• If you experience any skin
irritation or redness after using,
stop stimulation in that specific
area until the skin returns to
normal.

• If you feel discomfort or abnor-
mal symptoms during treat-
ment, stop using the device
and consult a doctor before
resuming treatment.
• Do not use this device if you
are allergic to plastic.
• If you have any problems
setting up, maintaining or using
the device, contact customer
service and report anything
unusual.
• Keep the device out of the
reach of infants, children or
pets. Any inhalation or swallow-
ing of small parts is dangerous
and can be potentially fatal.
• Only use parts and accessories
that have been specified or
authorized by the manufactu-
rer. The use of unauthorized
accessories may cause
damage to the device or
danger to the user.
• Do not use the device in areas
of high humidity, such as the
bathroom or in the shower, as
this may cause damage.
• If using rechargeable 1.5 V
batteries, make sure you use a
CE approved battery charger.
Never connect the device
directly to a battery charger or
to other powered equipment.
• Do not use the device in the
presence of a flammable
anesthetic gas mixture, com-
pressed oxygen or nitrous
oxide.
• If the Pain Therapy Device is
not functioning properly, you
should stop using it.
• Only use the device for its
intended purpose.
• Do not use the device while
wearing other electronic
devices, as this may cause
damage.
• Do not use the Pain Therapy
Device near a mobile phone,
as this may cause it to malfunc-
tion.
• Do not throw the batteries into
a fire because they may ex-
plode.
• Dispose of the device, its
batteries and components in
accordance with applicable
legal regulations. Unlawful
disposal may cause environ-
mental pollution.
