Bearings
All bearings in this tool are lubricated with a sufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the
life of the unit under normal operating conditions. No further lubrication is required.

Saw will not start

Turn the switch OFF and always remove plug from the power source
before
PROBLEM
1. Power cord is not plugged in.
2. Fuse or circuit breaker tripped.
3. Cord damaged.
4. Burned out switch.
1. Extension cord too light or too
long.
2. Low house voltage.
1. Blade out of balance.
2. Saw not mounted securely to
stand or workbench.
3. Arbor Nut not tight.
1. Laser cover is covered in
sawdust or wood pitch.
2. Laser on/off switch is not
activated.
3. Laser on/off switch is not
functioning.
REMEDY
1. Plug saw in.
2. Replace fuse or reset tripped
circuit breaker.
3. Have cord replaced by an
Authorized SKIL Service
Center or Service Station.
4. Have switch replaced by an
Authorized SKIL Service
Center or Service Station.
1. Replace with adequate cord.
2. Contact your electric company.
1. Discard Blade and use different
blade.
2. Tighten all mounting hardware.
3. See "Adjustments" section,
"Removing and Installing the
Blade".
1. Clean laser cover with
compressed dry air and/or wipe
with a damp cloth.
2. Turn on laser on/off switch.
3. Have switch replaced by an
authorized SKIL Service Center
or Service Station.
