• Touch the flexizone key and hold 3
second, the hob will go into the BBQ
mode and show 'b', 'q'.
• If you want to cancel the barbecue
function, just touch the flexizone
control, then the zone will return to
power level '0', you can reset the power
now.
Flexible zone (UBE2401-20 and UBE2422-
23 models)
• This area can be used as a single zone
or as two different zones, accordingly to
the cooking needs anytime.
• Flexible area is made of two independent
inductors
that
separately. When working as a single
zone, a cookware is moved from one
zone to the other one within the flexible
area keeping the same power level of
the zone where the cookware originally
was placed, and the part that is not
covered by cookwa¬re will not heat.
• Important: Make sure to place the
cookwares centered on the single
cooking zone. In case of big pot, oval,
rectangular and elon¬gated pans make
sure to place the pans centered on the
cooking zone covering both cross.

As big zone
• Touch the heating zone selection
button that you desire to go into flex
zone cooking, an indicator next to the
key will turn on.
• Touch the flex zone selection button,
to activate the flexible area as a single
big zone, the power level indicators of
the front zone and the rear zone will
indicate the same power level and
the led indicator next to the flex zone
button will turn on.
• Touch one of the heating zone selection
control, then you can slide along the
"—"control, or just touch any point of the
"—" to adjust the power level.

To use the flexible area as two different
zones with different power settings, press
the dedicated key again and the zones will
return into their old settings.
Locking the controls
• You can lock the controls to prevent
unintended use (for example children
accidentally turning the cooking zones
on).
• When the controls are locked, all the
controls except the ON/OFF control are
disabled.
• To lock the controls:
• Touch the "+"and"-" two button at the
same time. The timer indicator will
show 'Lo'. In case of UBE2401-20 and
UBE2402-20, press the locker button .

• To unlock the controls:
• Make sure the Induction hob is turned
on.
• Touch and hold the "+"and"-" two
button at the same time for 3 seconds .
• You can now start using your
induction hob.
When the hob is in the lock mode, all the
controls are disable except the ON/OFF,
you can always turn the induction hob off
with the ON/OFF control in an emergency.
You can always turn the board off using
this control in an emergency, although it
will lock the controls and you will need
to unlock them the next time you use the
board.
