► Before switching on the scale, check that it has no load.
► Press the ON/OFF button on the display.
ð The device is ready for operation when the main screen is displayed.
After a short period of inactivity, the display then goes dark to save energy. You
can modify this time period

► Press the display to activate it.
ð The main screen is displayed.
► Press the ON/OFF button (approx. 3 seconds).
