1 Socket
The socket is used as a receptacle for the
plug.
2 Plug
The plug connects the connecting cable to
the charging management.
3 Power outlet 1 to 12
The power outlet supplies power to a connec‐
ted charger.
4 Connecting cable
The connecting cable connects the charging
management to the mains plug.
5 Mains plug
The mains plug connects the connecting
cable to the mains power outlet.
6 LED
The LED indicates the status of the charging
management.
7 Cable markers
The cable markers serve to mark the connec‐
ted chargers and connecting cables.

The charging management may only be
connected to a properly grounded socket.

4.1
Warning Symbols
Meaning of warning symbols on the charging
management:
Observe safety notices and take the
necessary precautions.
Read and understand the user manual
and keep it in a safe place for refer‐
ence.
Protect the charging management from
rain and dampness.
4.2
Intended Use
The STIHL CM 12.0 charging management pow‐
ers up to twelve STIHL AL chargers via a power
connection. The charging management automati‐
cally connects and disconnects the connected
chargers. Chargers plugged into sockets 1 to 3
are preferentially supplied with power.
Only STIHL AL chargers may be connected to
the charging management. Power strips and
other electric devices may not be connected.
WARNING
■ Using the charging management for purposes
for which it is not designed may result in seri‐
ous or fatal injuries and damage to property.
► Always use the charging management as
described in this User Manual.
4.3
Requirements for Users
WARNING
■ Users without adequate training or instruction
cannot recognize or assess the risks involved
in using the charging management. The user
or other persons may sustain serious or fatal
injuries.
► Read and understand the user man‐
ual and keep it in a safe place for
reference.
► When passing the charging management
on to another person: always include the
user manual.
► Make sure that the user meets the following
conditions:
