CHANGE TEMPERATURE UNITS (F°/C°)
While the unit is turned off, press the - and Mode button simultaneously to change be-
tween fahrenheit and celsius temperature displays.
REPLACING REMOTE CONTROLLER BATTERIES
1. Press down lightly with your thumb on the
"OPEN" mark and slide down in the direction
of the arrows.
2. Replace the batteries with two AAA size batteries.
3. Respect the polarity of the batteries (+ and - di-
rections) to avoid leakage and damaging the
remote control.
TIPS FOR USING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL
• Ensure the IR transmitter is pointed toward the IR receiver on the indoor unit.
• The remote control have a direct line of sight toward the unit to properly function;
the unit and remote control should not be further than 8 meters (20 feet) to prop-
erly function.
• Remote control signals can have easy interference with wireless telephones or flu-
orescent lighting.
• Always replace both batteries at the same time. Use batteries of the same type (do
not mix a lithium and alkaline battery).
• When the remote control will not be used for an extended period of time (greater
than 1 month), please remove the batteries to avoid leakage.
• If the display on the remote control unit does not function or is distorted or fading,
replace batteries immediately.
REMOTE CONTROL LOST OR BROKEN?
If the remote control is lost or broken, you can still use the auxiliary power button on the
unit to enable cooling functions. Open the panel as shown in the diagram below and
press the auxiliary power button. The unit will operate in automatic cooling mode. Con-
