The installation location must withstand the weight of the indoor unit, including
the vibrations and noise generated by the unit.
6. The unit must be installed at least 2.5m (8 feet) above the floor level.
7. Do not install the unit above any electronics, computers, or appliances.
8. Keep the unit away from fluorescent lighting installations.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. You must follow all electrical safety regulations when installing the unit.
2. Use a properly rated grounded electrical outlet in accordance with local electrical
safety regulations.
3. Ensure that the power supply is properly rated for the required electrical capacity
for the air conditioner.
4. Properly connect the live, neutral and grounding wires to the power outlet.
5. Cut off the power supply when proceeding in any installation, maintenance, and
repairs of the units.
6. Do not turn on the electrical current before completing the installation process.
7. If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or a qualified professional to avoid hazard. Please contact technical support for
additional information.
8. Keep the thermostat interconnection cable away from all copper coils; coolant
fluid heats to high temperature and can melt the cable.
9. The appliance must be installed in full accordance with local building code and
regulations.
GROUNDING REQUIREMENTS:
1. The air conditioner is a Class I electrical device; it must be properly grounded. The
unit must always be installed by a qualified professional.
2. The yellow-green wire in the air conditioner is the grounding wire; it should not be
used for any other purposes.
3. The grounding resistance must comply with local electrical safety code.
4. The appliance must be positioned for the electrical outlet to be easily accessible.
5. An all-pole disconnection switch must have at least 3mm spacing in all electrical poles.
