CLEANING THE FILTER
1. OPEN THE PANEL
Turn the unit off before opening the operating panel.
Pull out the panel at an angle as indicated below.
2. REMOVE FILTER
Pull down on the filter as indicated below.
3. CLEAN FILTER
Use a feather duster (type Swiffer) or water to clean the filter
If the filter is very dirty, use lukewarm water and place the filter in a cool, shady place to
dry. Never expose the filter to direct sunlight or heat sources.
4. REPLACE FILTER
Install the air filter and close the cover panel.

NOTE:
•
The filter should be cleaned every three months. A large quantity of dust in the
room may require more frequent filter cleaning.
•
Never touch the air fins to avoid injury.
•
Never use a fire or hair dryer to dry the filter. Filter materials may create a toxic
smoke or fumes from melting.
