Read instruction manual first! Disconnect the power cord from the
power source before making any assembly, adjustments or changing
accessories.
Problem
Tool will not
start.
Cut-off wheel
does not come
up to speed.
Excessive vibra-
tion.
Cannot make
square cut when
cutting.
Cut binds, stalls
motor when
cutting.
Tool does not
cut workpiece.
Water not flow-
ing to the cut-off
wheel.
Dust not vacu-
uming

Troubleshooting

Possible Cause
Power cord is not plugged in.
Power source fuse or circuit
breaker tripped.
GFCI tripped
Cord damaged.
Burned out switch.
Trigger does not turn tool on.
Extension cord too light or too
long.
Low house voltage.
Cut-off wheel out of balance.
Roller bolt(s) bent.
Dull cut-off wheel or worn dia-
mond grit.
Cut-off wheel slipping.
Water supply is off.
Water filter is blocked or
clogged.
Clogged auxiliary handle or
dust chute in upper guard.
Corrective Action
Plug tool in.
Replace fuse or reset tripped circuit
breaker.
Reset GFCI.
Inspect cord for damage. If damaged,
have cord replaced by an Authorized
Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
Have switch replaced by an Authorized
Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
Have switch replaced by an Authorized
Bosch Service Center or Service Station.
Replace with adequate cord.
Contact your electric company.
Discard cut-off wheel and use a new one.
Replace roller bolts and rollers.
Discard cut-off wheel and use a new one.
Assemble cut-off wheel and tighten wheel
bolt per "Assembly Instructions" , see page
10.
Turn on supply valve. Turn water feed as-
sembly valve on.
Clean or replace the water filter.
Clean auxiliary handle and dust chute
in upper guard with a brush or blow out
with compressed air.
